About Alex Kavanagh CEng MIEE MBA (Open)Alex has been working in the IT industry since 1990. After spending 14 years in mobile data and communications, Alex launched Tinwood Ltd to provide Linux, Free and Open Source consultancy and services. He is a Chartered Engineer who holds a BEng in Electronic Engineering (1990) from Hull University and an MBA from the Open University (2004). He has worked as a software engineer, sales/account manager, project manager, product manager and application manager and is now the principal consultant at Tinwood. Alex became interested in Linux and F/OSS (Free and Open Source Software) in 1995 and has worked with them since 2000. |
